Evaluation of the Latvian state scholarships competition for studies for the academic year 2023/2024 is completed. 90  applicants from 23 countries have received the study scholarship.

The number of applications submitted for the study scholarships was 309, out of which 90 applicants have received the Latvian state scholarships.

In total scholarship nominees represent nationals of 23 countries. 

The largest number of scholarship recipients are from Ukraine and Finland (9 scholarships), Azerbaijan (8 scholarships), Georgia and the China (7 scholarships) and Kazakhstan (5 scholarships).

The next call for the Latvian state scholarships will be open from 1 February to 1 April 2024. More information about the Latvian state scholarships can be found here. 

The evaluation committee comprised of representatives from the State Education Development Agency of Latvia, Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia and Student Union of Latvia.
