Study in Latvia is going to participate in the “European Higher Education Fair 2024”, which will be held from June 15th to 16th this year. This event aims to give Japanese students a deeper understanding of the appeal of studying in Europe. Study in Latvia and Latvian universities will be represented by the Embassy of Latvia in Japan.

The fair, organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, will feature representatives from various national agencies, embassies, and European higher education institutions. Thousands of high-quality, internationally recognised Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programmes are offered in English or other European languages across Europe.

Visit the Study in Latvia booth at the fair to learn about study opportunities in Latvia and the scholarships offered by the Latvian government to international students, including Japanese students, for studies and participation in summer schools at Latvian higher education institutions:

• €500 per month for Bachelor's students (and 2nd level professional higher education students in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of study)
• €600 per month for Master's students (and 2nd level professional higher education students starting from their 4th year of study)
• €700 per month for PhD students

In addition, learn about the European Union's (EU) Study Abroad Support Programme "Erasmus Plus", which provides scholarships for international students participating in joint master's degree programmes and short-term study abroad programmes.
